András joined the group as an RA in December 2022.
He completed his PhD thesis at the Institute of Integrated Micro and Nano Systems of the University of Edinburgh.
He has investigated the application of spectrally and temporally resolved single photon counting enabled by SPAD detectors to advance biophotonics applications, focussing on time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and OCT.
After his PhD he joined the Translational Healthcare Technologies group at the University of Edinburgh working on the development and clinical translation of a multi-modal endoscopic platform using novel optical fibres and detectors for early stage tumour deliniation.
András is currently on an MRC DPFS project developping and translating a system to localilse medical devices within the body through early photon imaging.
