Hannah obtained her MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham in 2023.
Her masters project focussed on the design of a metamaterial doublet lens for use in colour imaging.
After spending some time working in industry, she started her PhD with the group in May 2025 and is looking at developing photonic technologies for applications in experimental medicine.
