Pubali obtained an MSc in Physics at the University of Kalyani, India, where she worked on theoretical Quantum optics, followed by an MTech at IIT Kharagpur where she worked on Solitons in medium with saturable nonlinearity.
She begun her PhD in September 2024, developing advanced fibre-optic Raman spectroscopy tools with applications in healthcare diagnostics.
A focus of this work is overcoming current manufacturing limitations by adopting new ultrafast laser processing techniques to deliver high-performance and low-cost fibre probes.
